Sittong:

It’s a gorgeous Lepcha village in Darjeeling district, near Kurseong, at a height of 4000 feet. The picturesque Sitong village, known as “Orange Village” due to the abundance of orange production. Nearly every house in the village has orange orchards. River Riyang, the waterfall (Jhora), the mountains with lush green steps and orange gardens will welcome you when entering Sitong village.

Lepchajagat:

It is a tiny village close to Darjeeling, which has become a tourist town recently. Lepchajagat, situated on the Ghoom to Mirik road, 8kms from Ghoom and 14 kilometers from Darjeeling town. The main attraction of Lepchajagat is the view over the Kanchenjunga range along with that of Darjeeling town. The area around it is serene and ideal for tourists who want a lesser-known place.

It’s a small mountain town (instead, it’s a villa) located in the Darjeeling area. The term Tinchuley refers to three Ovens (for instance, Tin Chullahs). : ARRIVAL AT NJP RAILWAY STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT - WELCOME TO SITTONG

Welcome to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) On arrival, at Siliguri you will proceed to Sittong-a beautiful, quite, healthy and enjoyable hill getaway. Sittong area is very famous for its orange cultivation, during the winter the entire area turns orange with its orange Gardens. Sittong is ideal for nature lovers, Bird enthusiasts and adventure.Night stay at Sittong Homestay.

Day 2 :

: SITTONG FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Started full day trip with Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary, this sanctuary is rich in bird life. It is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries of India. visit Famous bamboo Church, a very old historical church and a Monastery, made mostly of bamboo and mud. Proceed to Namthing Lake or Namthing Pokhri / Namthing Pokhari situated at an altitude of more than 4000ft is a natural lake near latpanchar village in the Shelpu region. Namthing Lake is home to the rare reptile species Himalayan Salamander (Newt). The lake is surrounded by thick pine trees which host a large number of birds and butterflies. : WANDERING LEPCHAJAGAT

: LEPCHAJAGAT TO TINCHULEY TRANSFER
