However, Lilabari is the nearest airport to Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh. But Lokapriya Gopinath airport provides more connectivity and better flight frequency.

ILP in Arunachal Pradesh:
Arunachal Pradesh falls within a restricted zone. A permit from the government is required for entry into the state. After crossing Valukpong and all other locations, such as Dirang, Bomdila, and Tawang in the western region as well as Itanagar within the part of eastern, visitors must present an ILP.
